Understanding verb conjugation patterns is what separates phrase-repeaters from independent speakers. Our Reference section lists the most common verbs in frequency order: 'to be', 'to have', and 'to go' form the foundation of virtually every language.

The Verb Conjugation Game builds competence incrementally: start with the 10 most common verbs, then 20, then 30 and so on, allowing you to become a 'mechanic' of the language with the ability to construct original sentences, not just repeat memorised phrases. The Verb Conjugation Game also has its own competitions and coin rewards. Once you've learnt the first 10 or 20 verbs, you will begin to understand the common patterns for all.
